Just arrived in Taiwan

I just arrived in Taiwan. It's super hot and humid here. And from what I hear it's going to be raining alot more. Arriving at my family condo, i realize it needs to be cleaned and organized since no one has living in it for a while. My goal for this month would be to clean and organize the condo and start settling in to living in Taiwan. So i'll only be speaking in Chinese, except for this blog of course ;)

  5. I can't read that. I don't recognize the second character and I only know how to read the third one (because there's a MRT stop named zhisan). :(

  6. 小康之家 is an idiom used in China, means one's family condition is pretty decent (perhaps middle class)????????

I am not too sure of the meaning either. I learned that idiom when I took 3rd grade Chinese while I was a kid. Your teacher or a Chinese dictionary should explain better than me.

I left that comment because your house picture fit the standard of 小康之家

  7. I see, we haven't gotten to idioms yet. But I hear it's necessary to learn in order to be considered fluent.

  8. 哇!Brian
